Students of Avalon school from 3rd to 12th grade recited poems to commemorate the All Saints day
On November 2nd, 2015 the Avalon school made a festival day for All Saints Day, in the festival the four houses of Avalon, Stewart, Carroll, Calvert and Washington recited poetry.
Students of different grades participated in the recitation of poems, six students won the first and second place, and the best overall winner of the recitation was a member of Stewart house, Biagio Vignola. Michael McPherson, captain of Stewart house, and Matthew Tobin captain of Carroll house were the champions for the poem from the captain.
“I think I won because I was confident and really knew how to speak clearly and had my poem memorized” Biagio Vignola student of 12 grade, overall winner of the poetry recitation.
The winners of 3rd and 4th grade were R. Devereux and G. Kalf in 2nd place, in 5th and 6th grade the winners were M. Ratti in 1st place and K. Teleki in 2nd, the winners of 7th and 8th was Liam Tobin in 1st place and Michael Egan in 2nd place, 9th and 10th the winners were Danny Tobin and Jared Szadkowski and in 11th and 12th grade the winners were, Vignola in 1st place and Bonatti in 2nd place.

All this students were winners in the 1st and 2nd place of the recitation, every student had a good memory, an appropriate voice tone, and every student could express their feelings, their compassion for the school and their ability to appear nervous free in front of the school.
