Wearing Pitt Panthers gear, he watched the Black knights play Riverdale Baptist on Oct. 5 in Upper Marlboro, Md. It was Ibrahim’s first time attending an Avalon game since his Avalon playing days.

“It was different,” said Ibrahim, Avalon’s all-time leading rusher. “Real different but it felt good to be around the team, and it is good to see the new guys and the old guys still keeping the Avalon football program alive.”

Ibrahim visited with former teammates, coaches and teachers. He admitted he missed playing for Avalon, but his time with program was up.

Still, he enjoyed the view from the sidelines and supporting his old team.

Overwhelmingly, the team enjoyed his appearance at the game and appreciated his support at the football game.
