Apocalypse When?

Four Horsemen of Apocalypse, by Viktor Vasnetsov. Painted in 1887.

We survived Y2K, we survived the Rapture and we survived the Mayan Apocalypse. All apocalypses have been unsuccessful so far.

So what is next?

Well after almost a decade of apocalypse scares is that all? Are we done? Is the world finally going to be free from terror?

Apparently not. In fact, we still have a whole slew of threats on the horizon and the next supposed Apocalypse will come sometime in 2017.

Legend has it the Prophet Gabriel told the religious cult The Sword of God Brotherhood in a “prophecy,” that the “dying time” will come in 2017 and only followers will survive.

If we are able to survive that frightening episode, we can look forward to September 28, 2020. Dr. George Madray, how has a PhD in soil Chemistry and Dentistry, predicted in his book, The End, that on this date a Yom Kippur Parousia – which translates to End of the world – will take place.

However, a prediction modern-day scientists say is a sure end of the world scenario will happen in 4,500,000,000 AD. They believe the sun is will swallow Earth, and yes I mean swallow!

There are many more predictions between these apocalyptic dates, so which one is right?  When should be begin constructing a bomb shelter and loading up on perishable items?

Well who can know for sure? People are making new predictions every day of the year and most likely none of them are correct.

Besides, people who do predict the end of the world are usually insane and should be ignored.

My advice is just to sit back, relax and live life with no regrets.
